Everything Is Up In Fresh Air

I planted everything from seeds this year and after only a few days everything is up. The beans were the first to break through in three days followed by the cantaloupe. The carrots were last at seven days. Now that they have started the battle with the weeds begins. I find that the best way is to have absolutely no weeds. You have to be diligent but it pays off.

Theresa and cut tons of branches and limbs off our sea grapes. We placed them beside the street and hope they will  pick them up with the garbage today. So far this few weeks have caused us to cut and trim tons of foliage.

Some of our greenery has gone wild and our back yard looks like a jungle. We enjoy the privacy we get so it is a good payoff. I still have to get my amaryllis placed in their proper pots for the Xmas showing we receive every year. This year they split so we should have a good show. Some will be too small to bloom this year but will be right for next year. We have dozens of little geckos and they keep the bugs off our pool screen. Harmless but interesting.
