One or two of these items have some people in a tizzy but she always said she works better under pressure; well she is under pressure. She must have forgotten the mess of sorting out papers for a mortgage and purchase of property in Parry Sound. She and her husband dropped in to pick up a rain barrel and some tools for their trip to the new digs this weekend. She must have done her homework as she appeared to be calm as a cucumber. In addition she is taking a two day work holiday at their new cottage. This is the way my oldest works - calm, cool and collected. She earned the time off. Enjoy.

Your oldest? You're kidding of course. She doesn't look like she could be the eldest with those sparkling eyes and glowing complexion! I am sure she her happiness is numbing any stress that may be raging through her system and she is probably remembering advice that was given to her: it's about enjoying the journey, not just the destination.
ReplyDeleteShe would also want you to know that she appreciates all that you have done for her and hubby.
Hi Henry,
ReplyDeleteYour daughter (and my DIH) is indeed a woman to be very proud of. Thank you for moulding such a lovely girl, a loving mother who has raised 3 precious, charming girls and is also the treasure of my son's life. Without a doubt, Lyn is our diamond. A sparkling, brilliant gem that radiates joy to everyone.
